Durand-Hedden News

We love this story by Maryanne Christiano-Mistretta in the News-Record NJ, (Worrall Community Newspapers, Inc.). It truly captures the spirit of last week's Open-Hearth Cooking Demonstrations with Margaret Quinn and Bernadette Rogoff. Durand-Hedden offered three seatings for the demos, all of which were full. This continues to be one of our most popular events every year. We thank all who came, enjoyed the food, and asked interesting questions about the history of open-hearth cooking.

The Grand Prize was awarded to Carolyn Rugel and Sierra Wagner, who also took home the First Place ribbon for the Teen Category, for their team entry "The Snowy Inn."
