Juneteenth 2026 at Durand-Hedden brought together one of the largest and most enthusiastic crowds we've ever welcomed for this annual event. Visitors of all ages enjoyed a day of music, art, poetry, history, family activities, food, and community. Photographer Claire Sinclair captured the spirit of the day and the many moments that made this celebration so memorable.

Durand-Hedden and the SOMA Coalition on Race are pleased to announce that the Nubian Heritage Quilters will be featured at our Juneteenth celebration on Friday, June 19. Visitors can stop by, admire their stunning work, and talk to the quilters themselves.
