
Black History 101 Mobile Museum

The mobile museum is a renowned repository of more than 10,000 original artifacts ranging from the trans-Atlantic slave trade to hip-hop culture. It has a diverse collection of authentic documents bearing the signatures of revered figures such as Martin Luther King Jr., Angela Davis, Carter G. Woodson, Mary McLeod Bethune, and many, many more. The mobile museum is the premier traveling exhibition of Black history in the nation, and it has visited numerous colleges, corporate spaces, libraries, festivals, and conferences spanning more than 40 states and 1,000 institutions. Visit the museum at the DeHart Community Center, Saturday, October 3 from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sunday, October 4, from 10 am to 3 pm.
