African American genealogy workshop brings high community interest for an encore run

On Sunday, March 26, Durand-Hedden asked genealogist Janice Gilyard to hold another workshop on African American genealogy in order to accommodate those who were unable to get a spot at the February workshop. Turnout and enthusiasm were both high at the event. We thank Ms. Gilyard for sharing her knowledge with us and for all the community members who turned out.
