The Potters Return!

Updated: Nov 17, 2023

Durand-Hedden was part of the SOMA Artists' Studio Tour on Sunday, Nov. 5. Two of the ceramists, Aimee Mower Lally and Jennifer Evans Arbo, displayed their beautiful pieces in the Carriage House and throughout the Durand-Hedden House. Inside the house, an exhibit on the history of pottery, including a focus on African American ceramists of the 18th and 19th century, included a display of Early American pottery.
